The SATTC Thursday Team League is a 2-player team league played over seven Thursday nights, followed by Finals Night. Each week every team plays one matchup against another SATTC team: five matches — singles, singles, doubles, singles, singles — each best of 5 games. Teams earn a point for every match won plus bonus points for winning the matchup. At the end of the regular season the top four teams in each division advance to Finals Night, with cash prizes for the top three and a medal or trophy for fourth.

Teams compete in one of two divisions, U3600 and U2800, capped by the two players' combined USATT rating. On each team the higher-rated player is Player A and captain, the other is Player B, and the weekly schedule designates each team red or blue for its matchup. Ratings are locked for the season, and players without a USATT rating are given a club estimate.

League play runs 6:00–9:30 pm. Every matchup is assigned a table and a start time on the weekly schedule, which is posted on Tuesday — start times are strict, so arrive early and warm up on an open table. Only the tables needed for league play are reserved; the rest of the club stays open for regular play all evening, and spectators are always welcome. Score sheets are at the front desk; both teams sign at the end of the matchup and standings are posted weekly at the club and on SATTC social media.

The league is open to SATTC members; non-members may play but pay the $10 daily fee each week they play. Questions, conflicts, makeups or substitute requests go to league manager Ryan Martin at (210) 830-8559 or [email protected]. Read the full Rules & Guidelines (PDF).
